Companies accepting large credit card transactions from other businesses or government should make sure they are set up to receive Commercial Product Large Ticket interchange rates.

Visa and MasterCard offer large ticket interchange rates for high dollar transactions.  Interchange will vary depending on the card type and the size of the ticket.

Purchase Advantage (Only applies to keyed in transactions.)

• Purchase Advantage 1      0.70% $49.50       Transaction amount must be $10,000.01 to $25,000

• Purchase Advantage 2      0.60% $52.50       Transaction amount must be $25,000.01 to $100,000

• Purchase Advantage 3      0.50% $55.50       Transaction amount must be $100,000.01 to $500,000

• Purchase Advantage 4      0.40% $58.50      Transaction amount must be greater than $500,000.

Visa GSA Large Ticket (can be swiped or keyed)

Transaction must be greater than $5,557.14   1.20% + $39

Purchasing Card-Non GSA / Corporate 1.45% $35.00 (can be swiped or keyed)

Transaction must be equal to or greater than $7,755.56

Commercial Large Ticket (MasterCard)

Large Market 1.45% $35.00

Transaction amount must be $10,000.00 or greater

MasterCard Commercial Payment Account 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5

• Commercial Payment Account 1    1.20% $0.00     $10,000.00 but less than/equal to $25,000

• Commercial Payment Account 5    0.70%   Transaction must be greater than $1,000,000

Qualifying for Large Ticket interchange will produce significant savings for you however, please note: Only transactions that include level 3 payment detail

are eligible to receive commercial product large ticket interchange rates. Processing these transactions without level 3 processing detail you will end up paying 2.70% or higher for these transactions.
